Searching for SDS

You can view a list of SDS by performing a string search or by specifying filters such as Tag and Department. 
You can also customize and save filters according to your needs and refer to them each time. 
*Note: Customizing and saving filters is a separate paid feature. Please contact your sales representative.

 

Searching with the Search Bar Steps:

  1. Click on "SDS LIST".
  2. Enter text in the search bar and click "SEARCH" to perform the search. 
    *Note: The search criteria in the search bar allow searching by SDS ID, SDS Name, Product Name, Chemical Name, CAS Number, Regulation Name, and Sub-regulation Name.

 

Searching with Filters Steps:

  1. Click on "SDS LIST".
  2. Click "FILTER" at the top.
  3. Select the applicable filter criteria and click "APPLY".

 

Managing Search Criteria:

The applied search criteria will be displayed under "Current Search Criteria." 
To clear a search criterion, select the "x button" to the right of each criterion, or select "CLEAR FILTERS". 
To minimize the filter panel, click the "FILTER" button again.

 

Details of Search Logic:

  • If multiple criteria are selected within all Keyword fields, the narrowing will be done using "AND logic".
  • If multiple criteria are selected within a single Dropdown item, the narrowing will be done using "OR logic".
  • If criteria are selected across Keywords, Dropdown, and multiple items, the narrowing will be done using "AND logic".
    • Eg. Searching with Keyword + Dropdown, or Dropdown + another Dropdown.
