Risk Assessment Method in CREATE-SIMPLE Using the Product DB Format File

We will guide you through the procedure for performing a risk assessment using CREATE-SIMPLE with the file exported in Product DB format.

 

Steps:

  1. Obtain the SDS data in CREATE-SIMPLE Product DB format and open the file.
  2. Select and copy columns A through K down to the last row.
  3. Open CREATE-SIMPLE (version 3.0.0 or later) and paste the copied data into cell "No.1" on the Product DB(製品DB) sheet.
  4. Click the " Input from Product DB(製品DBから入力)" button in the upper right corner of the Risk Assessment Sheet(リスクアセスメントシート), select the target product, and input the data.
  5. The selected product's "Product Name(製品名)", "CAS RN", and "Content Amount(含有量)" information will be reflected from the Product DB. 
    A cross-check will be performed with the data within CREATE-SIMPLE itself using the "CAS RN", and the result will be automatically reflected.

 

Notes:

  • The Product DB can only be used with CREATE-SIMPLE version 3.0 or later.
  • When executing Step 4, a message such as "CAS Number: ○○ not found in list." may appear.
