Force Password Reset Function for Other Users

This is a function that allows a user with Administrator role to forcibly reset the passwords of other users. *Note: The force password reset function can only be used/executed by users with Administrator role.

 

Steps:

  1. After logging in as a user with Administrator role, click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. Click "User List".
  3. Hover over the target user in the list and click the "Password Reset" button.
  4. On the confirmation screen pop-up, check the target person's email address and click "RESET PASSWORD". 
    *Note: Performing this operation will reset the existing password, and the target user will be unable to log in until they complete the password change.
  5. An email titled "[Chemican] Password Reset" will be sent to the target user's registered email address.
  6. The target user must change their password themselves using the password change URL in the email. *Note: The password change URL is valid for 24 hours from the time the email is received.
